Payroll Explained! February 29th, 2024, 6:00 to 8:00 PM (PST)

Eggs in a basket

I would love to wax on about smarmy things related to eggs in a basket, but I’ll spare you. I just find them beautiful. Even when the picture is less than perfect from my cell phone of unwashed, fresh eggs from the backyard coop.

In support of local food, like these hyper-local eggs, our people have spoken and with much appreciation to those who filled out our survey, we are offering our first webinar!

The loud and clear winning topic is “Payroll Requirements and Taxes!”
(If only accounting topics lent themselves to more lyrical titles. Ah well.)

Thursday, Feb 29th 6:00 PM -8:00 PM

This will have a farm focus with the latest about farm overtime, and that pesky IRS payroll tax form that is different for farmers (Form 943 instead of Form 941), plus we’ll quickly review volunteers and/or work-trade help.

If you are brand new to payroll, however, you don’t have to be a farm business to attend, because we will also cover basics such as:

  • federal payroll taxes
  • WA State payroll taxes
  • contractors versus employees
  • payroll software issues and options, plus more.

There will be time for questions and answers, of course, at the end.

We’ve chosen an accessible price ($20) and have an easy sign up here:

(sign ups are no longer being taken – please email alchemilla services AT gmail DOT com if you would like to purchase the two-hour recording and slides for $20.)

If you can’t make this one, or want a different topic, we will offer more classes soon.

We welcome your questions and comments at alchemillaservices AT gmail DOT com.

Plus, we have just created an email list for future announcements, and you can sign up for that here: http://eepurl.com/iJ2tsE or use this QR Code:

Many, many thanks to Theresa, project manager extraordinaire, for making this happen at the busiest time for Alchemilla Services, but at the best time for our farmers and small businesses.
